The goal was to improve the user experience of a self-serve retail display. Working with a cross-functional team, I conducted user evaluations and created new designs based on the findings.
Interacting with the demo by pressing the buttons and looking at the display screen was not intuitive. Participants wanted to be able to stop a certain demo-video or go back to the main menu.
My mission as a designer was to improve the layout of the buttons and come up with a display menu that is obvious to the user. The data from our user testing helped in identifying all the key issues. I was responsible for designing both the visuals, the interaction of the buttons and the display menu.
